The vital spirit, the soul
The fluidity of color contained within a single sphere, or cell, is paramount in this collection of works. I sought to explore the never ending outcomes of color through fluid creativity from the same limited pallet of colors. Like our chromosomes, though there are a limited number, the information stored inside reveals an unlimited form of expression. Painting the same shape again and again, each a fascinating new expression because of how the colors intertwined, caused me to imagine what God must feel like when he creates each of us. As I know He does with us, I can't help but love them all.
